How do you move the frame up or down. Most time my movie plays ok but with the frame line across the middle

I believe this is a dual gauge projector with film format changed by a switch.

If this is so, then you may be projecting Super 8 on the standard 8 setting, or vice versa. This is because the frame line on the two separate gauges varies. It's opposite the perforations on standard 8. On Super 8 film the frame line is in the centre of an invisible line half way between the perforations.

It is quite possible that there is no actual frame adjustment control on this model.
