I recently got Paris To Monte Carlo (Melies film). This is the standard 8mm color version. We thought everything seemed very abrupt. If I'm reading the box right it is 70' long. Then we went on youtube and watched the 10 minute version and it flows much better (the 8mm version trims a bunch of scenes). But my main question is when we were watching the longer version it had the cheesy scene of the car going up and down the mountain peaks. And my wife says she was certain that scene was on my previous 8mm copy I had of this film about 3 years ago but it is not on my current 8mm. Does anybody out there know if Blackhawk had a longer version later on? I should mention both of them were Blackhawk films.
