Hi all,
I have recently got a Eumig P8 standard 8mm projector that has had its old type lamp area removed and upgraded to the Halogen type one, the lamp that has 2 pins with a short skinny lamp....like this one on E-bay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150558646165?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageNam e=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

NEW 300W GX6.35 220-240V No. 64516 QUARTZ HALOGEN LAMP

Or this type maybe?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-photography/camera-accessories/lighting-studio/auction-829038968.htm

We are on the 240v power system here in New Zealand so I assume it will be a 230-240v lamp?
Plus is a 300watt too bright for this projector,it's old type is 100watts..
Any advice and where I can get the lower watt one if need?

Thanks all and Happy New Year,
Clinton in New Zealand.

Hi Clinton

All the Eumig P8's had a 12v 100w lamp. Most were incandescant but The final P8 Novo had a 12v 100w Halogen capsule lamp fitted.

Do not exceed 100w lamps on these Eumigs as the transformer is designed to supply only 100w. The lamps are readily available on the net.

Thanks for the link, I really appreciate the help, sometimes when you don't know the actual name of the lamps it can be hard to find them!
I also found one on E-bay about the same price which is very reasonable.
Thanks again,
