Why not bring your projector up to 25fps and modify the pitch on the sound source, so when it's projected back at 24fps, it would sound right?
Recent Pal sources are well converted. Without getting into details about hardware conversions (the Teranex is an amazing machine but way out of reach of cine collectors), professional postproduction softwares now do a pretty good job at converting frame rates without altering speed and pitch.
But that wasn't always the case. There was a time when only fields, size and colours were dealt with. Again, this is more complicated than that but, in short, one second of Pal was equivalent to one second and one frame of NTSC, meaning that the end result was running 4% faster than its source.
I *think* you'll have less hassle if you can run your projector at 25fps. You're a DJ, modifying the sound pitch shouldn't be a problem for you. And indeed, there are free softwares to perform that task (Audacity comes to mind).
