I have reposted this old thread here for the benefit of Alan Gougar, and of course anyone else who may benefit from it. [Wink]

Only the initial post has any relevance, I may add!

This perfect solution has a given me a totally scratch free film path ever since and the guide cannot change its position now, not even accidentally, through wear of the thread or running vibrations etc etc.
Highly recommended simple and failsafe modification for these!
