Does anybody know where the speed pots are on a ST-TRV SUPER 8 unit?

Hey Jim,

I've been puzzling over this one.

Do you really mean "speed pots"?

I'm looking at this picture on the Van Eck site:

ELMO TRV on Van Eck's Site

There is a large vertical PC board inside the front wall of the unit. I see cabling running over from the motor, so I'm guessing the motor control circuit and the pots are located there. ELMO is very fond of single turn pots about the size and color of a dime, although I'm not so fond of these myself!

Ok that's what I thought too I'll have to take the big wheel off to see if it's behind there. My units been modified so it looks somewhat different. Thanks
