Offered for sale here is a nice collection of standard and super 8 films mostly from Blackhawk - silent era. These are from a collection I bought, some will remain with me but I really don't have the space for them all nor the time to watch them all so I though I would offer them to forum members first.
What's nice about this collection is the original owner really seemed to care for these as the Blackhawk boxes and films themselves are in lovely shape. Most still had the leaders taped down with masking tape so I wondered if many had even been watched although many have purchase and cleaning dates printed inside the covers in pencil.

So first come first served - prices as listed - postage added depending on your location.

I've added a little info on each. (S-8mm) are super 8 the rest are standard 8mm, all are silent.

Questions and wants can be emailed to terry (dot) lagler (at) rogers (dot) com

Terry, according to the experiment made by Toronto Star last Christmas, no matter what service you choose from Canada Post(as long as it is not surface), it could arrive at the same time. So there is no a point (for example) to take Xpresspost™ - International which is CAD$62.99 for a small packet (800 grams) compared with Small Packet™ - International Air which is CAD $32.29 to Greece.

There is a bit faster service i.e Priority™ Worldwide but the cost is almost CAD$80 for the same weight while it is only 2 days faster.

..... but going to border and send from the US land is still much cheaper though [Big Grin] (it will cost CAD$10 for the same weight and service!)

cheers,

Yes Winbert, what you say is true, in fact I've seen packages arrive in Europe in fewer days than to the US or even within the same province.
One thing to keep in mind with samll packet is, even though there is insurance there is no tracking so on more expensive items Xpresspost sometimes is the safer way to go.

Yes that is true. However, as long as our item not exceed the value of $100, what the max insurance will cover, the small package is the way to go.

I just wish that one day Canada post will learn from the USPS to classify items not only based on weight but also based on the form of articles (e.g media mail or parcel ground for bulky items as USPS has [Wink] ).

cheers,

The way shipping works with Canada Post is not always "logical", you almost need to be a little bit saavy so you don't overpay for a service you really don't need.
A media mail service in Canada would be a great idea though.

Cheers
Terry
