I just bought a copy of Way Down East (D.W Griffith) super 8 sound off of Ebay. The guy said it was mounted on six 400' reels but unfortunately when I received it there are 5 reels with film and the last film is an empty reel. I was really excited to get this film and am disappointed that the last 18 or so minutes of the film are missing. Does anybody happen to have the last reel???

hi. the seller should have definately stated that it was not complete. it really is a mine field buying used films, especially from someone you do not know. but even as i have recently experienced. buying from a trusted dealer you can still be sold a film not as described. very very poor. and oh so bad for the hobby. good luck in your search for last reel.

I think the seller didn't know anything about film but you would think it would've been kind of obvious that there was an empty reel. But to be fair he is offering a full refund and to cover return shipping. So if I don't find the 6th reel in a few days I will send it back.
