I shall keep an eye out for it for you Jason on our side of the e bay world etc. I have to say though Jason, you always seem to spot these things far quicker than I do when they come up! l.o.l. [Wink]

I'll keep an eye out for it as well. Owning this (and really lucking out on it), I can say that this print is really stellar, extremely sharp and letterboxed to it's theatrical presentation!

Thanks lads,

I have only seen this in a 35mm release and some screen shots from S8 prints and it looks fantastic.

It's a decent quality print, although mine is slightly on the dark side....so that you can hardly read the credits at the end.

" I have only seen this in a 35mm release and some screen shots from S8 prints and it looks fantastic. "

That was the magic of the Disney/Derann" connection. There were occasionally marginal Disney prints from Derann, (The Little Mermaid comes to mind, as well as the very Bluish "Fantasia 2000"), but as a general rule, the quality was truly 16MM ... on super 8!!

Some on here, (they can speak for themselves) have even commented that in comparison to even to video copies, the super 8's still hold they're own in comparison, and that's saying a lot for this lovely hobby we enjoy!

... and it's still a major kick to be able to project these film on a big screen and with that level of quality, really enjoy the experience that few out there can really grasp!!!

Hi Andrew,

I think l have been lucky to get a print on S8 as its not one to come up to often.
Now to find a 35mm print since l have just started collecting 35 again.

it's not to bad Andrew, l new this would happen getting back into 35mm again l just love the hobby to much and l dont go to the cinema anymore because l cant stand that flat looking awefull digital projection, nothing beats real film but im running out of room fast with a new 35mm projector coming soon along with Dolby Digital audio rack, the 16mm and S8 gear will have to squeeze up a bit l think and if l go ahead with a platter that may have to sit in the garage for a while until l work out where everything will go.

You will have to make us all an "Armchair Odeon" Video when you get all tidy again Jason. It would be fascinating to see.
