Hello, My wife has some very old super 8 movies and the splices have came apart on some of the reels I need some good tape and a good splicer to repair them the tape I have gotton has been old and not stickey enough to use any ideasThanks Lonnie

Hi Lonnie Welcome to the forum. Probably the easiest and least expensive tape splicer is the Kodak Universal Presstape Splicer. If you are interested... I have one of these for sale on Ebay right now that includes 6 packets - 30 splices (the photo shows 3, but I added 3 more [Smile] ) of Super 8mm presstapes.

I fully agree with Janice regarding the Kodak splicer.I have one and it's my go to splicer for 8/Super-8/16 mm.Simple to use and made well plus tapes are easy to find for all gauges.
