Just shows how greedy, or stupid, or clueless some people are and just how riduculous things are getting if people actually think any title is worth this sort of money. Perhaps I should have listened when my dad advised me to keep goldfish!!!

As Evan rightly guessed, this should have been on the 'Back to the Future' post. I had a Champaign truffle at lunchtime and it obviously had an effect. Better stick to the strawberry creams in future.

Breeding goldfish is not as easy as it sounds. Creating the right environment for your goldfish, finding fertile mates, encouraging procreation and ensuring the correct incubation and birth of eggs are all essential steps in breeding goldfish. It can be time consuming and expensive, so it's difficult to turn a profit on such ventures. However, if done correctly you may just surprise yourself. Like many tasks, the key is attention to detail and patience.
Choose your best breeders. ... Introduce the five goldfish into the same tank and look for natural spawning. ... If natural spawning proves unsuccessful, artificially inseminate. ... Separate your breeders from your eggs. ... Be patient while your fish develop and reach maturity

There's definitely something fishy about this thread - David - give them the right conditions and they will breed - a good dinner, dim lights, soft romantic music and a sprinkle of Sildenafil should do the trick.

I've learned more about goldfish in 11 posts than I've discovered in a lifetime. Perhaps there ought to be a site for 'my other hobbies' especially if it's cheaper than film collecting!!!

Watching fish is very relaxing Kevin. I knew a collector who had a fish tank in his home cinema. What the fish thought of the films who knows!
