I have an original 1977 Star Wars (No 'Episode IV' on the crawl) and a beautiful print of Return Of the Jedi on 16mm with great colour.
Both prints are scope.

I am getting together some screenshots and hopefully some video of them both in the next few days. I thought I would list them here before putting them on ebay.

Looking for USD$1100 + post for Star Wars, and USD$1200 + Post for Jedi.

I am in Australia but will ship anywhere and will take paypal.

Only selling as I now have 35mm prints of both movies.

Feel free to ask any questions, offer trades or make offers [Smile]

I embarrassingly paid USD$2400 for the Star Wars print many years ago [Embarrassed]

I am 99% sure they are, but will check.
Here is a clip from ROTJ, it looks a lot better projected, my video camera isn't great at capturing the screen, but it gives you an idea.

I will be screening both films this weekend and grabbing some clips.

Shipping to the US is around USD$120 for up to 7kg without insurance, and around 100GBP to the UK for up to 7kg.

If multiple buyers were in the same country I would be happy to ship it as a single package to save on post then have you guys work out the rest [Smile]

Hi Pete, nice to see you also on this forum. I am curious, are your 35mm prints the Special edition versions?

Adam, I hope you get this prints, after the last trouble deals, it would be great to see you a little bit happy.

Hello Oemar!
No, my 35s are the orignal 1977 and 1983 prints.

As to the sale of the 16mm and S8 prints, it has been a bit of a nightmare.
I have had two members commit to buy and then pull out, after I had already boxed them all up for sale, which is very frustrating.

Another committed to buy both films but now wants a payment plan and right of refusal after screening them.

I have decided to put them on ebay, that way both the seller and the buyer get protection if the films don't arrive or get damaged etc.

I really wanted to sell them here if possible, but can't keep telling people they are sold, then having buyer pull out. I'm travelling a lot, undergoing chemo treatment at the moment, so just honestly don't have a lot of time for messing around with it all.

I really want to support everyone here, so what I will do though is knock $50 off the shipping if anyone from this forum wins the ebay auction, I will be listing on ebay when I get home from hospital tonight, along with the screenshots and as accurate and honest description as possible.
Star Wars is a reduction dupe, isn't a high contrast print (I prefer that look but some don't) and the original print that it was duped from has a few missing frames and scratches around the reel changes.
Jedi looks great, don't know if it is a reduction print or not, but will be posting lots of photos and some more video from both prints.
All sales will be final, so take a close look at the images and ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
The Derran Super8 of Star Wars and a brand new poly Super8 of Empire Strikes back (ESB is a mute print) will also be listed on ebay.

I'll post the link later tonight.

Postage within Australia I will do for free for any members here, overseas postage I will take $50 off the postage for members here.

Cheers

-Peter

Pete...I too want to wish you the best and that everything goes well with your treatments. Chemo's no picnic. I know...went through 6 months myself going on ten years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, I've been through chemo and radio before, not sure if that makes it better or worse!

I'll post a link to ebay once I get them up, probably in a week or so.
