Just come back from Derann's open day...it is fascinating to see behind the scenes of a place we all ring up for films. Plenty of collectors buying, and good to have a laugh with the staff. I was advising Gary that I have found a staple is the best way to splice film, never mind about the C I R splicer. Once the power cut had been sorted out, the bring and buy stall did roaring trade as well as a guy who just seemed to continuously go out to his car carrying boxed Super 8 projectors! Another customer asked Gary for some film cleaner; when he went into the store room you could see the films and projectors piled high. Thank you to all the staff for making the trip well worthwhile.

I agree with your comments Simon. Another great day out.
Do you think that Derek may have been "watching" - it seems very strange that the power cut occured just after your comment about the "staple" splicing? Spooky???
Thanks to all the lads in Dudley, once again.
(We "Black Country" people are a very amiable bunch).

Dear Simon & Keith

Thank you very much for your kind comments which are greatly appreciated (we always try our best)! I hope to see you both at our next Open Day on Sunday, 6th July or perhaps at Ealing on Saturday, 24th May

Best

That's quite alright Gary. We all know that you are "very trying" at the "Best" of times. [Big Grin] See you at Ealing [Wink]
Take care,
Keith

Thank you Gary. You all put in great effort at the open day. I hope you enjoyed your glass of film cleaner I saw you drinking.
