I am 18! All I wish is that I had more money to make a better start of my collection. So far I have a projector on its way and Corny Concerto on its way.

George Burns was a class act, so I hate to disagree with him.

I'll take 25 over 18 anyday: Free of college, real job but still living with my parents therefore adult style money with kid level expenses.

-bought a brand new car, had a girlfriend or two...knee didn't start to hurt for another 10 years!

Agree with Steve, 25 was perfect...but that was 26 years ago [Frown]
I could have sworn it was only a few months back...

Now I guess it's ok as long as I can keep doing it without living out another song: "Middle Age Crazy" by Sonny Throckmorton (who also wrote '18'.)

I would love to have the body and energy I had when I was 18, but no way would I want to be 18 today.

I don't know about 18. I'm 74.... and feel like a 22 year old!
Trouble is... my wife won't let me look for one!

Especially post-marriage you learn to look like when you are driving: you basically keep your eyes on the windshield yet steal quick glances at the dashboard and the mirrors: long enough to get the essential information yet not so long you get in a collision and in possible trouble with the authorities.

I was in the airport in Dallas between flights once and this really spectacular young woman came in: naturally I checked my mirrors and speedometer as always, but this time I did something unusual: I observed the other guys too...

-basically every male in the waiting area was a good driver...

I would like to 18 again only in the get up and go energy wise thing. I sometimes feel like an old car with worn out piston rings puffing out blue smoke going up a steep hill [Smile]

I have just updated my "CV" for job hunting and I asked the teens at work what do you think I can do? they all looked blank....you lot cant think of anything... [Eek!] anyway all the joking aside I think the job scene here for 18 year olds is a tough one and was really pleased to get a phone call from our young side kick projectionist "after a lot of hard work" that he had just got himself one of only two electrical apprentiships going in a major company that does the big stuff. At 18 thats the ideal time to start.

For me at the 60 mark...well no complaints, will work something out [Roll Eyes]

Oh! Just to cheer you lot up from "Holst The Planets"

Saturn...The Bringer of old Age.

We seldom see or hear you coming
We seldom welcome the serenity or horror of your gift
But it cannot be declined or undone
It is end and beginning interwined.

Jeepers, after typing that out.....I WANT TO BE 18 [Big Grin]

Graham.
