To all those celebrating Thanksgiving Day today, I wish you a blessed and fruitful and happy day.
I know the past year-- and the most recent weeks-- have brought intense hardships for many of us, and yet I also know from my own experience that we all have much to be grateful for.
Perhaps it is a small thing, but one thing I am very thankful for is this forum-- an island of camaraderie and civility and interesting knowledge that stands out from the dross elsewhere on the Internet.

David, Thank you for your kind words; they are much appreciated. The world right now is rather tumultuous and while it is so easy to take for granted things that others will never have, this is a good day to simply say "Thank You."
If you are physically and mentally well. If you have family. If you have friends. If you have food and a roof over your head(s)....
Have a great Thanksgiving everyone :-)
Claus.

When I think of all of the amazing blessings we enjoy - family, possessions, spiritual - there is no end of Thanksgiving. Hope it's been a great day for my friends here and that you are able to say the same.
