Although not totally film related, they do sell it the videma's.

Coca Cola now in smaller 1.75lt bottles, same great price as 2lt.
Rip Off or what?

Reminds me of some of the Mountain Films came on a 200ft reel with about 110ft of film in reality

The coop washing up liquid we use ( 500ml ) was announced in big letters etc on it as " New Size Bottle " It was 450ml size !!!

It's how they keep prices and more importantly inflation down as the last thing companies want is a rise in interest rates which is how governments traditionally control inflation. Smaller companies would suffer from an interest rate rise, bigger multinationals would also feel the pinch as people's purchasing power would be reduced by mortgage rate increases. Western economies are still very fragile but at least we are beginning to see growth and are coming out of recession.

At the moment Pepsi is still in 2lt bottles, if they don't follow Coke they should increase sales.

I do feel ripped off when companies do this. I then change products and buy some others.

The price has actually increased for the Coke Cola, so they can get stuffed.

As I mentioned in my first post Mountain Films were devils for the footage I think they even cut some of the digests they printed in the UK.
