Yvonne and myself called into Pats cinema down South in Geraldine...a most enjoyable visit...here are a couple of photos.
The image with the digital projector did look really good.

It's not common to see a house transformed in a cinema. Usually, they close a cinema and use the building to do another activity.

I was surprised to see this was a house at first. Curious the dimensions of the screening room/how many seats and screen size. I love it, it give me hope. Now if I could only kick the family out for the theaters take over and renovation:)

Its not a converted house...It was built in 1924 as the "Geraldine Town Hall". Just about every small rural farming community had one.
I think they started projecting films in that hall, around 1926. I came across this early photo taken March 1939. The film was "North Of The Yukon"...
Pat still has a lot of work to do to spruce things up a bit
