Columbia video cases appear to be the same style as their Super 8 digests. Did not know this.

Many VHS releases in the USA often seem to be only ever a cardboard sleeve.

I did have a Beta video that came in a 400ft Iver Films Super8 size and style case with the interior plastic made to fit a Beta cassette. It realy took up too much shelf room.

Very interesting - it gives the impression that at least their packaging/marketing people thought that mass market Super 8 and video might co-exist for longer than they actually did, especially considering that some S8 releases in the Columbia cases had previously been sold in cardboard boxes.
