    Thanks, Simon, for having clarifying that. At least, we have now the explanation.

    Roberto, laws may vary from one country to another within the EU. For example, cannabis is legal in The Netherlands, illegal but tolerated in Belgium and completely illegal in France. Self defense sprays are legal in France but not in Belgium. You can buy alcohol in motorway shops in Belgium but not in France (and probably not in many other European countries, neither). To give only three examples.

      Yes, these examples are a sample of "ordre public" forbidden substances because they might pose a public hazard. But we are talking about something as hsumble as B&W processing, that nowadays is nearly testimonial compared to predigital times. I doubt France would get a denial should they request permission to perform B&W reversal development.
      But so far we have no other choice than Italy, UK, Germany and the Netherlands. Does anybody know if in the home of Foma (Czech Republic) is there any B&W reversal laboratory?
