Is there anyone in the UK or in mainland Europe (preferred) who can replace the worm gear of a Bell & Howell TQ3?
It's important that the projector runs fine. Sound or fps calibration or not critical.

At the moment I cannot advise on 16mm Bell & Howell projector repairs in the UK or Europe.
However, there is a gentleman in the United States who still advertises repairs to 16mm projectors, including Bell & Howell. No doubt to include replacement worms.

Well, sending a projector from Belgium to the US for worm gear replacement is not really feasible.
I would give VanEck (https://van-eck.net/reparatie-overzi...e-projectoren/) a call or the people running https://www.filmwebshop.nl/.
They will either be able to help you, or put you in touch with someone who can. These are in the Netherlands, but VanEck is in Tilburg, which is a stone's throw away from Antwerp.
Let us know how you get on!
