Before we get in to this any further, I need to know how many of you have crank rewinds by Neumade Products? With these rewinds that have yellow handles there is a very good short cut to figuring out cue mark placement.

Without these, it is still simple, but you will need a tape measure or yard stick.

You can and should read the linked document, or I can answer questions here in this post.

Whilst Chip has provided some very interesting material I thought I would add details for cue marks which applies to all gauges :-

      1) From last frame of film to last cue mark for change-over - 18 frames
      2) Four frames of cue marks for change-over
      3) From first change-over cue to last motor cue - 172 frames
      4) Four frames of cue marks for start motor

        Fumeo 9119
Beaulieu 708 EL Capstan Drive Twin Track
Beaulieu 708 EL Capstan Drive Stereo

For a 16mm show I could always use my Bell & Howell change-over unit.

Of course. I forget how large a collection you have, Maurice 😁
