Hi all,
This can be in 16mm or 8mm forum but I prefer to drop here where I visit most.
So I found a sticker below in one of my film can and say it has been protected for long film life by Permafilm Australia.
I googled it and found this article:
https://archive.org/stream/TNM_Perma..._0184_djvu.txt
and I also found the same product (may be different formula) is still available in the market, but now more is advertised to protect car paint.
http://www.keep-your-car.com/PERMA-FILM-transparent/en
So during the 1970s have you ever heard this treatment to film meaning the film is coated by transparent solution. And was it effective to protect film from scratch or vinegar syndrome.
cheers,
winbert
