    No need to remove the main board Graham, Just remove the back mounting foot bracket (2 screws) to gain access to the two little screws which hold the OEM motor board in place. Then follow Phil's instructions. Phil recommends a very light smear of silicone grease on the contact pins sticking up from the main board. The only slightly tricky part is lining up the holes on Phil's board with the pins sticking up from the main board. Just take your time and all will be fine.
