  • Advice needed on an ST1200D problem.

Hi everyone and apologies if this has been addressed before.

I dug out one of my ST1200D's a couple of nights ago as it hasn't been used for a while and i dont think leaving em stood dormant for a long while does old projectors any good.
Anyway back to the issue, when i turn the selector switch to the first position which i think is to thread the film either forward or back nothing happens i moved it to the next position [project film] and the reels turn and the light comes on albeit a little slow at first but that soon rights itself i put it down to being cold and not used for a while.I tried the other one and it seems to work fine the reelas start to turn at when in position 1,has anyone come accross this before.Russ

Hello Russ, surely it will be a problem of some spring of the mechanism to give traction. I also have 2 st-1200 and in one of them the same thing happens to you. For me it is a problem, the operation of the projector is correct. I enclose a couple of screenshots of the manual. Greetings!
