I got a Fujicascope MG 90, and have spent the past few days watching through all the films I have. After having fun watching through everything I finally pulled out my camera and started setting it up to record to digital which is why I got the projector in the first place. The moment I flipped it to start playing after getting the framing perfect of course the bulb stops lighting up. I assume I need to just replace the bulb, but I had some questions since I'm so new and don't really know what I'm doing.
When the projector bulb went out, the light that lights up the Super 8/Regular 8 switch also went out. Does this going out mean that there may be a deeper problem than just replacing the main bulb?
Also, I see a lot of discussion on here about replacing the old halogens with an LED instead. How do I go about finding that? Van-Eck has the part listed for this projector, but I don't really know how to translate that for searching for an LED. I'm in the US if there's a preferred store here (B&H?).
