I thought I'd also mention that when I was in a "boys prison" ( I was too young to go to regular prison, and they felt that I could be rehabilitated, which turned out to be true), my case worker heard me talk about my love for film, and he brought me in a mediocre movie viewer/editor, and two standard 8mm sound 50ft black and whites, "Battle In Outer Space" ( 60's Japanese space opus), and "Gruesome Twosome" ( Tweety cartoon) , both black and white. Get this! I took the editor apart, found the mirror set up, took the mirrors off, and left the back of the editor off, and nailed it to a pole, which was nailed to a wood base, so I made a "pseudo" projector, with a very limited light to it, but I gotta bigger image than with the editor screen!
