Oops the Workprinter version is just for the mouse click test. I will have a version with fps selection including the 59.94 fps shortly.

Moviestuff has taken the link to this software off its website, but there is a note that if you have your original registration info and send that to Roger Evans at Moviestuff he may send you the link for the software. Not sure what's going on here but clearly he has indicated that there is no tech support for the old software.

Just to clarify Tom. The links I posted are for my own sw and nothing to do with Moviestuff. It still has bugs in it. I am getting a new desktop and will test it with the black magic card. So this software should work with any mouse driven capture.
Added wp_img_format_selection.zip Looks like jpg format may work better on some machines.

I found the original instructions but the software was on a 3.5" floppy. Nothing I have will read those anymore.

For those of you with the modified scanner that has mouse output for image capture and Intensity Pro card but do not have software support, I wrote this simple software that captures the png images.
https://github.com/vintagefilmograph...sityProCapture
The software is based on DeckLink SDK 12.4.2 and is not associated with any other sw packages. It is free for you to use. If you already have the system running and it works ok do not run this software because it could mess up your system and you may have to reinstall the Decklink drivers. I will come up soon with the gui version that runs with the USB capture card and produces an MP4 video directly.

This is a very simple program Shane that runs from a command line. The disadvantage is that you do not get the preview. It saves the images to the target directory triggered by the mouse button. There are lots of programs out there that will do one thing or the other but I could not find something that will connect to a video camera and produce the sequence of images or a video driven by a mouse click. So, I came up with my own.
You can give it a try. I also have a gui version that I plan to release shortly. Still testing it.

Is it possible for the gui version that runs with the USB capture card, to save still images as well?
If yes that will open LOTS of possibilities for hardware to be used! I'm thinking about my failed attempt with el-cheapo usb capture card I previously mentioned - might worth giving it the 2nd chance.

Currently I have 2 or 3 my versions of the gui sw. All 3 ran with the USB card. Will have to test at 7 or 8 fps to see which one is the fastest.
This is the desktop that I am using.

Will post the test version of the sw shortly.

Tried the USB capture card. Had some issues with the build that produces the video directly but the build that output images worked at 8 FPS.

I hardcoded the images to jpeg format but that can be easily made selectable via a dialog box.
It runs OK on my desktop but may not run on less powerful systems.

Finally have one version of the program that will create the mpeg video from the captured frames directly.
https://github.com/vintagefilmography/MouseCaptureVideo
Read the readme file there for the instructions on how to install and run the program.
Please note that the program runs well on my new desktop and there are no guarantees that it will run smoothly on your
system.
I also want to emphasize that this is in no way related to some other commercially available (or no longer available) programs.
I came up with this on my own by studying the online examples and DirectShow documentation.
