I admire anyone that has that mindset to do this stuffI can't even do a jig' saw. I would spend weeks just trying to find, the first two pieces to put together. When I watch Steven and Connor in action, I really don't know how they do it, they seem to be in a world of there own.
I mentioned to Steven that Trevor on the forum here, who is a doctor up in Auckland... gave up doing it.I wonder if it would be an "idea" for doctors or surgeon's during there training days, to have to put something like this together in a certain amount of time, and most importantly "don't" have any bits left over before they go into practice

I have started and constructed two parts other than attaching the LED plus dynamo to the frame. I have assembled the lens (Many small parts) and one of the drive gears including the Maltese cross.
I would say that if you don't have small fingers (and I certainly don't) a pair of long nosed wiring pliers is essential for removing parts from th e sheeets and putting in place!!! I'll post some pictures later.

Yes I'm sure some parts are duplicated in case of breakage when assembling. One thin part did break when i was putting the lens assembly together - thankfully there was a spare!Last edited by Brian Fretwell; January 13, 2021, 05:22 AM.
