We need a "I don't give a rip!" button! Couldn't resist. I never saw the need for a "like"button, I mean, are we really that concerned as to how many people like us?

              Graham,

We could always add a "Sorry, I didn't have my coffee today" button.

              Osi,

I'll have to give your button idea some thought.

We're singularly fortunate in having this forum in any format...always grateful to Doug and Brad...We have ample topics and more to come, the font-size is legible and any pictures are clearly displayed...as was stated, we the collectors must make an effort out of it..one topic to mull over would be film preservation approaches in European Archives...or...simply, how to restore old film boxes...See? we will always have plenty to discuss, so let's go...Shorty

The "like" button allows somebody to just give the poster an endorsement without getting into details.

A "don't like" without some details is asking for trouble! You don't like the message of the post? You don't like the messenger? If the messenger is posting about something negative, are you actually agreeing with them, or are you objecting to them mentioning it?

-the only way a "like" can get you in the same trouble is if you put it on the announcement of someone's death!
