Well, David, I go the comment regarding Schmoes right away. I grew up with the 3 Stooges. If you are one of the few who haven't sen MALICE IN THE PALACE from 1949 you should check this out on youtube. See where MOE is pointing? ShmowLand. Hilarious. The boys are off to see the Sultan of "Shmow".

Regarding Jurassic Park, I loved the first one and liked the Third one. The Jurassic Worlds have been fun and enough certainly to help digest some Popcorn and M&Ms. I will definitely go see the new one. Is it an Oscar Picture? Probably not!! But I suspect it will be fun.

Anyone have MALACE IN THE PALACE On Super 8mm? Dave - perhaps it should be released for all of us who love "Shmoes" and those who live in ShmowLand. Ha! Have a sense of humor everyone!

If you look closely where Moe is pointing with his sharp blade you can see SHMOWLAND. The Land of Shmows. Haha! I love this short.

Don’t think the popularity of the 3 Stooges ever really got beyond the US. They were really I was going to say slapstick but more like assault without any filters. They were the predecessors of that other unfunny icon Lucille Ball. Who was as funny as getting a rusty nail hammered into your head.

Yes Mike The Stooges were as popular as Barry Humphries with a douche bag .

My Dad liked The Stooges but mind you he was about 8. Never liked Barry Humphries. Thought his alter ego Les Patterson was much funny but maybe I am zooming in on a stereotype.

What???? There are folks on this forum that don't appreciate the genius of THE THREE STOOGES??? Haha. Well, when you watch them every day eating breakfast like I did before heading to school they just become ingrained in you. This happened thoroughly to kids growing up in the 1960s. All the morning shows kids watched purchased syndication packages and showed them ad naueum.

That said, I love them. Most women (spouses of men like me) think they are idiotic and just don't get it. Their loss.

I just turned 65. And to this day, I pretty much know what line is coming next. But as they say, "mileage varies" depending upon who you are and where you grew up.

You have to give a little credit to a comedy team that was making films from 1930 to 1970, ( Moe even tried to start a fourth incarnation of the Three Stooges in 1975, shortly before he died). I think a lot of folks simply didn't like them because they're humor was low brow, but this is probably why they were so appealing to the common man, not that this has anything to do with Jurrasic Park.

Hey! fans stop "HIGH JACKING" my topic. If you want to talk about all that other crap "START YOUR OWN" OK.

Right now.... we.... are back on track, for those who are interested I found the quality of the blu-ray that came with the 4K disc, to be of slightly better quality than the previous blu-ray release, here are some examples.

PS Forget DVDs of this title folks that's ancient history, you need to move with the times.

For Dominion, perhaps they’ll bring back a cloned Wayne Knight & Samuel L. Jackson.

Forget Wayne! He's been made into little dinosaur poos! Still doing my best to stay on track, it was really neat to see the super 8 release of Jurrasic Park, as, when we see it on DVD or Blu-ray, it is presented in a hard matte, (that is, one ratio from beginning to end), but that super 8 and original 35mm prints in general, gave you more image information on the top and bottom, and for me personally, it's always interesting to see stuff your missing.

Jurassic World Dominion: Prologue - Full Scene

Check out the full Jurassic World Dominion prologue scene. In the prologue, we're briefly transported 65 million years in the past to see some dinosaurs on the move in herds, peacefully grazing, and even fighting. There's also a glimpse of a very familiar mosquito before we arrive in the present day where one dinosaur has decided to crash into a drive-in movie theater.
This scene runs 5 minutes. Bonus: includes "projectors in movies" when Dino attacks the projection booth while destroying a Drive-In Theatre!

Awww, gee, isn't it hard enuf for a drive in theater, without Dino attacks?
