Really, a town called Placentia? It just struck me as funny, but nothing is funny about hitting 75. Janice, one of the really neat things about you is that I have never read a single post from you that is ever mean spirited and they are, instead, always helpful. Thank you very much. Blessings be upon thee!

Haha Ozi... I know what you're thinking... But it's pronounced PLAH-SEN-CHAH 😀 I am about 15 minutes from Disneyland 🤗

A very happy 75 years young birthday Janice. You are an inspiration in both life and film, you set the standard high. Much love form the United Kingdom.

Janice, I just thought of something! Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that you hold a record on the 8mm forum for the member with the most posts on they're topic! 80 some pages for what 8mm film you watched? Some of your other posts have fairly large numbers as well! Well done!

Osi Osgood I can't take credit for that topic since it is a continuation topic originated on the old forum by Lee Mannering. I just happened to be the first one to post on the new forum. However on the old forum I do have some rather long topics that make for some rather interesting light reading 😋

                    Happy Birthday Janice,
I'm fairly new to the group, having returned to film collecting/screening after a long break, but have already found your posts helpful as I bought a Sankyo 501 a few months ago that needed its film speed potentiometers tweaked. You helped me find them.
You're a great, very practical person who I admire as I started out my working life as an engineer. It's also an inspiration to me that you've been coping with cancer as I was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer myself just a week ago - so I'm at the start of my 'journey'. Live long and prosper - as a certain Vulcan would say.
                    Best wishes
                    Alan
