Thanks to all who have watched and enjoyed the animation. I have always been a LOST IN SPACE fan and about 15 years ago started to learn 3D modeling and animation. Some of my early efforts were pretty crude but over time I have gotten better - at least I am told so.
This particular animation is based upon a book "I am not Lost in Space" by Will Robinson authored by Timothy Williams - a screenwriter. Timothy reached out to me after seeing my other recent Lost in Space animations and asksd if I would help him bring the story in his book to youtube in a animated fashion - 6 parts of about 11 minutes each. I was of course flattered to help.
I have posted a NEW link - the other video had some sound issues for some - so I have corrected those.
I love collecting films and love Lost in Space.
Dave you are very generous in your comments about putting this on Super 8mm. HAHA I would love that but then I know I am in the minority on that. Kind of like THE BLACK HOLE issue brought up before - too little interest in too much production cost to get on Super 8mm.
For those who don't think the animation is up to par - I get that - and I am a ONE MAN shop with a 10 year old Windows computer who has a new appreciation for stop motion animators - it is very time consuming and of course you add that time on top of the modeling time as well. I hope to get better but I realize this is not Grand Moff Tarkin/Peter Cusing quality from ROGUE ONE released a few years ago. THAT was pretty amazing and even then there were 'those' that could not appreciate the effort and felt compelled to criticize. I for now - loved it - and knew right away the time involved in doing that.
But, i can dream that maybe one day I can get that good. Animating/Modeling is ZEN for me and it keeps me out of trouble. Ha!
For those who like it I am happy - enjoy! For those that don't - that's ok too - you don't have to watch. That's the beauty of 'choice'.
Thanks all!!

Speaking concerning "Lost In Space", correct me if I am wrong somebody, but wasn't there a 3X400ft black and white super 8 release of the pilot film? It has to be SUPER RARE, as I have not seen a copy show up ANYWHERE, internet or otherwise, for years. Can anybody give any info on who released it?

Now that would be super RARE - A super 8mm version of NO PLACE TO HIDE. Even a 16mm version of NPTH would be rare since it NEVER AIRED. Unless you are referring to THE RECLUCTANT STOWAWAY which actually aired. I am sure there were plenty of 16mm versions of Lost in Space episodes around back in the day.
Anyway - they would be a cool find if it exists!
