Sincere condolences Jane. Maurice was one in a million, so helpful and knowledgeable. I only wish I had met him in the flesh. We would have had so much in common regarding the workings of projectors etc. He has left this forum a legacy of information which is absolutely priceless to all our current and future members.

So sorry to hear that Maurice has passed away. I always enjoyed his contributions to the forums. I hope your family can take some comfort in reading the many posts here that Maurice was held in such high regard. Again, I am sorry for the loss of your father.
I'm very sorry to read the sad new about Maurice, and I offer sincere condolences to Jane and Angela. Although I regret my only direct communication with Maurice was a few Forum direct messages (about a projector we shared an interest in, the tributes here show that no one could have inspired greater respect and affection.
It is so sad to read of someone who feels like part of a family member that has passed away. I must give a big thank to you Jane for letting us know about your dad. God Bless You for being such a good daughter. I'm sure your dad is smiling from Heaven down on you and all of us.
So sorry to hear about Maurice, my deepest sympathy to his family. Maurice make sure you fill the IMAX screen in the sky with all your favourite films, I'm sure the projection will as always be perfect. RIP.
very sad news, a true gentleman and generous to all of us with his great breadth of knowledge. if there is a cinema in that great void, he will be in it!
