Today, I wanted to send a seller photos to prove that the DVD set they sent me was busted/broken as if delivery. I was going to attach photos of the item on my reply to they're message, and ebay stated, when I tried to attach them, "youare not allowed to attach as you are denied permissions" !?! How am I supposed to prove my case without being able to attach photos? I went to permissions on my account settings, and it also said basically the same, but in different words. Have any of you ran into this crap?!

Hi Osi. Saw you query and as I had our monthly account management call with Ebay today I asked our contact if this was something new. He thought it likely to be a glitch in an Ebay software upgrade but is going to raise with their technical people and come back to me. If I get any information back from Ebay I will post on here

Odd as someone selling an item I had put an offer on last weekend posted back a picture of said item, with a small "plaque" attached to it...on the Photoshopped addition was a name and mobile number 😁. The seller had a similar and newer item that he was just about to list. As it turned out, unrelated, the purchase didn't go ahead as I located the spares I needed.

Here is an interesting article on Scammers selling cars on ebay,
if you watch the Video in the story, there stealing photos of current Cars being sold,
and putting on ebay, then want an ebay Gift card as deposit.

Hi Osi. I said I would come back if I heard anything back from our Ebay account manager regarding the problem with not being able to attach pictures to a message. I heard from him today that is an issue primarily with the Ebay.com (ie US) site arising from a software update. It is being worked on for a fix for an upcoming software update but no date given. Apparently they were trying to block people sending a particular type of image file or content, but ended up blocking all images in some circumstances. The Ebay.co.uk site is still working ok as they hadnt rolled out the software update. Passing this on for what its worth - dont shoot the messenger !!!
