Hi Nathan thanks the link.
The question is, will it stick to polyester or acetate base? many reversal film is polyester but commercial film from 1970s is on acetate.
It is a kinda hard to make a strip, sometime after couple screening, the stripe will peel of from the film.
BTW, although that website still sell brand new magnetic stripes, bu they are made by ORWO (was an East Germany company which is obvipously had closed down) and AGFA which wikipedia says
quote: "In the past, Agfa film and cameras were prominent consumer products. However, in 2004, the consumer imaging division was sold to a company founded via management buyout. AgfaPhoto GmbH, as the new company was called, filed for bankruptcy after just one year.
So the condition is like I said above, "once it is gone, is gone"

Hi,
prices per meter for stereo at fipra range from 0,40 EUR (Orwo tape without milling) to 1,10 EUR (Agfa tape incl. milling), at Jäger (Filmbespurung.de) it's 0,30 EUR (Orwo tape without milling), at Fett it's 0,49 EUR (Agfa tape without milling). EvT (if still in business) is using "liquid paste" instead of tapes.
