Typical greedy seller.
£39.99 + £5.95 for postage for five rusty/crappy 16mm 400ft cans containing spools, and vinegar smelling unknown films.

Agreed. They state in the auction that the price is for the value of the cans and reels. You can buy new ones cheaper than that! Those look terrible! Ok, someone should look at the films and identify them before tossing (you never know when one could be important) but those cans look really bad. Looks like they have been under water.

They didn't sell and have been re-listed at the same price.

This technically is not ebay, but look at how lucky someone is going to be! Wish this had been closer to me. I want to try 16mm guage one day and this would have been a good way maybe.

A bit funny - 70mm test film with obvious mag tracks (did 70mm apart from early Fox Grandeur 70 ever have anything - else other than CDS digital?) saying OPTICAL SOUND ( MAY HAVE SOME CRACKLING / DROP OUTS).

I liked the look of that 70mm film until I saw the price! Old Vlad really is a character. Remember his £3,000 9.5mm METROPOLIS?

No Steven - Not £3000 - £4000. And he still lists it for sale. I wonder why it's not sold [Cool]

Not really "ebay oddities" anymore, just looneys who seem to think people are stupid but appear to be so, themselves

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUPER-8-SPEED-in-Cinemascope-from-DERANN-TOP/142907750822?hash=item2145f739a6:g:MhAAAOSwax5Yxb~a

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/The-hunchback-of-Notre-Dame-Disney-Super-8-Derann-mint/142609250389?hash=item21342c7855:g:pVIAAOSwux5YQvl7

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUPER-8mm-Film-HAMMER-HOUSE-OF-HORROR-DERANN-PRESENTS-MOVIE-MAGAZINE-NO-2/223107597440?hash=item33f23fc480:g:PIkAAOSwo0JWQF3c

The funny part about the above one is this, quote "COMPLETE DIGEST, HAS STRONGLY PINKED WITH SCRATCHING. SOUND SOLD AS UNTESTED, MAY HAVE ISSUES"

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Elvis-Presley-Live-In-Philadelphia-On-Film-June-23-1974-Super-8-8mm/352190858676?hash=item52003605b4:g:WIMAAOSw4nhZ66M6

Now then, while one or two of these may well fetch good money, why do the sellers just keep on listing, not selling, listing, not selling and so on?

I've said it before, why not just start at a reasonable price and then hopefully things may work out. I know there a some gullible people out there that these sellers try to prey on, but i wonder if these sellers realise what the majority of people looking in think about them.

And this for a 400ft single reel, no fade as it's B&W.

High price for what would have been a White Box Special as it is a mirror image print

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-8-GREMLINS-Steven-Spielberg-600ft-Reel-Colour-Classic-Derann-Release/183419633698?hash=item2ab4a98022:g:PkcAAOSwA71bkB9H

Though why reel one would have the ending on it I have no idea.
