Greeting.....
I am new in this hobby. Back many years I worked in a neighborhood movie theater as a usher, projectionist(when the full time projectionist was to drunk to do it) & bouncer. Went in to the Navy and became an IC electrician and for six years showed movies and repaired 16mm aboard 3 ships.I am now retired as a field service rep, and have just restarted my love affair with real film. Enough about me. I read a number of questions & responses in this form about about film cleaner and lubricants but I noticed the subject of using TEFLON was not mentioned. Has anyone tried using this on film and what were the results? Thank you Tom

hi Tom, welcome to the forum! I never used "teflon", FilmGuard is the one of the most popular film cleaner/lubricants used by a lot of the members here, including me. If you use the search feature at the top of the page you can review some of the earlier threads concerning film cleaners.

Just to amend this (WITH FILM GEEK SPECIFICITY )...Film guard and Film renew are the most popular slow drying cleaners....There are other fast drying cleaners that some of us use like Hexane and Urbanski films Solvon....AND all 4 OF these cleaning liquids can be used on an actual film cleaner like Roy Neil's Film-O-Clean
