... and there was the very good 400ft release "Mickey and His Pals", which was a compilation of the "Mickey/Donald/Goofy" shorts, most notable for the short "Whale Hunters", which I don't think was released anywhere else on super 8.
The only down-side to the WDHM releases was that they wouldn't release any of the classic Black and White shorts, thinking that modern audiences wouldn't want to see black and white, (even putting a disclaimor card in "Mickey Mouse: The First 50 Years"), which is such a shame ...
... except for, what I think is a curious choice, a 200ft release of excerpts from the "Mickey Mouse Club", highly sought after!

1102 Perilous Mission (Treasure Island)
Any idea when, or why, Walt Disney Home Movies decided to redo the covers for several of their Super 8 titles? Although the backs remained the same, the cover art was redone for a number of animated and live-action releases. (I've got two styles of boxes for "Monster from Under the Sea," "The Prince and the Dragon," etc.) WDHM came into being in the mid-Seventies, and would only be around a few short years before the Super 8 market's heyday was over, so it seems odd they'd have already felt the need to overhaul the packaging back then.
