Hi Akshay,
Glad you're back, I've found a superb regular 8mm projector in the Kodak Analyst 8. They have a 1.0 lens and are very quiet, adjustable speed and project a big bright picture, brighter if you convert the lamp to halogen. It's limited to 400' but, the bonus is that there are no belts to change. It's lightweight and are a little more scarce, probably due to the price of the unit at the time of it's initial sale.
I also have an M-8, it's true they are also reliable, beautiful, and very easy to use. It has a 1.3 lens but, can also be fitted with a 1.2 lens (from the Sears Tower/B&H's) which produces a bigger and brighter image. I've recently replaced a belt and have it running like before with some work but overall, not too difficult. This projector also has a sort of perfume smell that I don't get from other machines, which I really like.
Some Dual Eumig's take 600' reels and have a zoom lens, plus having sound on the machine may be something to think about in case you find prints that have a mag stripe. These are much more common and ready to ship through ebay.
