Hi all,
I picked up the Kodak Instamatic M67 for rather cheap and I have used it a couple of times, however the machine only had one large belt that it was running with. This belt broke since it was installed incorrectly, and after doing some research I found that the machine actually runs with five belts. Does anyone have a service manual/diagram, or anything that may show how to install all of these belts? I'm at a complete loss since I had only looked at it when it had the one large belt in place.

Maybe a forum member has one that can take the back off and photo it so you can see the belt configuration?

Ah, that's definitely an idea, as well! Though, I'm not sure if many have the projector since it seems to be more on the low-end side.

Alexa...Here is a service manual listed on Ebay....but my guess is that it cost more than you paid for the projector.

I'd save your money and if you need a dual projector....spend the money on something in a little better condition [Smile]

I have edited a picture from the van-eck website so you can see where (i think) the 5 belts are supposed to be placed.

Numbers + which belt is supposed to be there:
1: Front arm belt (inside the cap
2: Belt between arms
3: back arm belt (inside the cap)
4: big engine belt
5: small engine belt

Hope this helps you out.

Thank you, Janice. That is definitely more than I paid for the projector itself, haha. I actually have another projector (the Keystone 2500), but the lens is foggy due to it coming from someone that was a smoker. This causes the picture to not be as colorful/sharp (working on replacing the lens if I can find another). This little kodak projector actually produces a stellar picture! [Smile]

And, Thijs, thank you very much. Unfortunately, that is a completely different model. The belts are different in size/shape and the mechanisms inside are like night and day compared to mine.

Thank you both. The machine is working with just one of the five belts. It rubs a bit on the metal areas inside, however the belt could probably last years as it is.

Thank you, Pat! That is cheaper, but it just does not seem worth it since I have already invested $25 for the projector plus around $15 for the belts. As long as the projector works, I am pleased with it. It is actually working very well with just the one belt! [Smile]
