Is this new film guide compatible with the ST1200 and the ST800? I don't see those models listed.

Steven's eBay link seems to have lost its "click here" link. So here it is again.

Hi Janice, no not those two models.

Not sure if they do one for those.

Be good to get the rollers from these though to put in to the ST800 `s, to get the metal ones out, to stop the marking .

Not quite sure how Elmo managed that with those.

Best Mark.

Can anyone told me which model is exactly ELMO GS-1200 MK1?
How many models exist?
I know only about two: white dot buttons one and white dash buttons one, but don't know the related model name...
Thanks!

Link at top of thread should now work.

This is the earlier type guide but works with later machines. The difference is the later machines have the micro switch to change tension on reverse playback. It can be done without. Having the two rollers makes fitting in the microswitch difficult...

Does anyone actually use reverse projection on any of these machines listed for this guide?

Reverse projection and single frame projection were probably useful features for people laying down stripe recordings of music and commentary, but are essential useless for routine film projection. Indeed IMO reverse projection is something to avoid doing.

That was exactly my point Paul regarding these machines.
There have only ever been one or two to entirely trust with your valuable films in reverse projection mode.
For anyone fitting these guides, i doubt this would be applicable in their needs, therefore i suspect the guide could work for any GS.
