I just bought one of the newly issued 16oz FilmGuard bottles from Steve at Reel Image in the US. It arrived today in the UK with no damage and no customs levy.
The price is US$35 + $25 shipping to UK. That's about £43 total, and way cheaper than the Jack Roe option for the large bottle, for which I've been quoted £97 (including VAT and courier).

Well done Martin as a good saving,it shouldn't make sense to have it shipped over from the US but clearly does. I bought a film from Steve and that was cheaper than the same film from CHC inc postage,Mark

...Living in Canada I have to deal with extra import fees on many of my Super 8 purchases. I too ordered Filmgaurd From Steve Osborne @ The Reel Image a while back and it arrived with no additional charges. I am very happy with the product and equally pleased with The Reel Image prices and Steve's exceptional service.

It's not UK, Mark, but of course Van-Eck has them (www.van-eck.net) at a fair price, and you might also want to try E. S. Photographics, which is UK-based, on eBay or his website.

I’m in need of some Filmguard for my 16mm Films. Could someone point me or give me the contact details of Steve at Reel Image please?

Reel Image is quite literally the real deal. They have been official authorized dealers for FilmGuard many years and are a solid company to purchase from.
