I can't seem to find three stooges on film..plus missing 3 Abbot and costello digests. 400 Ft MEET the MUMMY and the 200 ft digest "ride em cowboy" and "no indians, please". Question though, Did universal 8 release the two 200 footers as a 400 footer? If not, looking to add to my collection. Thanks, Rob

I have one Three Stooges for purchase, but it's standard 8mm sound, "We Want Our Mummy" 200ft, with Curly. Nice print too. Sorry, I don't have any 400ft. super 8 sounds available at this time.

Robert,

Columbia put out quite a few of "The 3 Stooges" shorts, especially the ones with Curly in, I've had many over the years, so just watch those 2nd hand lists.

Robert,

I'll post a list of the Columbia Three Stooges films out on 8mm in the regular forum section.
I have a second copy of the 200 foot "Ride Em' Cowboy", Super 8mm sound, original box. E-mail me if you're intrested in a trade!

COLUMBIA released 15 of the Stooges in 200' editions (Super and Std 8 Silent), Only two were in Super 8 Sound; WE WANT OUR MUMMY and STUDIO STOOPS (I've seen these in Std 8 Sound also) - The original boxes were in two variations; a generic with Moe and Larry surrounding Curly, and a series of artwork boxes (I prefer the later ones) - If you need a list, let me know - Shorty

Shorty,

Thanks! I posted a list of Stooges films a few days ago in the 8mm Forum section. Take a look and let me know what I've left out!

I find it hard to believe that someone can't find NO INDIANS, PLEASE! This is probably the most common A&C Castle release, if not the most common Super8/8mm film period, with the possible exception of HAVE BADGE WILL CHASE.

I have to agree with Tony, though - right now there are four 8mm buy-it-nows on eBay USA alone - at least one of which is in super-8 format. [Smile]

Nice list Doug, you need only DISORDER IN THE COURT, all else complete, though I think NILES released a 1200' edition of KOOK'S TOUR, I've had the 400' version once - Thanks, Shorty

Shorty,

Thanks! Pretty funny that "Disorder In The Court" is the one I left out, since a horror feature that I shot 20 years ago took advantage of that title falling into public domain. The director must have used at least five minutes from that short in a movie theater scene to pad out the running time!

DISORDER is along-time PD, as well as BRIDELESS GROOM and SING A SONG OF SIX PANTS, I think the former manged to sneak in Super 8 - One area I collect are the Std 8 Silent 200' CASTLE Hopalong Cassidy and the elusive ones are RIDERS OF THE TIMBERLAND, GHOST CANYON ROUND-UP, WIDE OPEN TOWN, HOPPY SETS A TRAP, BATTLE OF THE BUTTES
