I have the Eumig Mark-S 710D and wondered about the plugs. There's a two pin in the main speaker and a din plug in the projector. Are these all the same on all Eumig sound projectors. Does anyone know where to get such plugs?

Well... They are usually availale in stores selling electronic components, at least here in Italy. Are they so hard to come by in Norway?

I can't be 100% sure, there are five holes, but looks like only three connected. Would that mean the right 3 are the ones from the link above? What pin does what? I thought you only needed ground and (I don't know this in english, but the other one with the signal on it). What is the 3rd for? And which is which?

Yes, it's right, you only need a 3 pin one. A 3 pin DIN plug will fit in a 5 pin socket, but not a 5 pin into a 3 pin!. The centre pin is "ground". The other two are for INPUT and OUTPUT, equivalent to LINE IN and LINE OUT with RCA sockets on amplifiers: if you haven't got the instruction book you find out which is which by trial and error. They will only fit one way... and no danger to the projector at all (unless you try to put mains in there instead of at the back!). Martin

Hate those DIN plugs. My GS1200 uses them for the speakers. One flat one round. Cheap and nasty in my opinion. Just like the scart for video crap
Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. (DIN; in English, the German Institute for Standardization). Standardisation is OK in some ways I suppose, but when the committees try to make a standard the best may not be the one that wins.
The 3 pin ones must be for mono in/out, 5 pin for stereo in/out. I hated to wire them. RCA were a lot better I think?
You could try Maplin or Farnell for them too.

I'm not 100% positive your DIN socket is for both input and output: I have an 804 with a three pin DIN socket: the center one is the ground and the other two are for mic or line input. But this is easy to cjeck: put the DIN plug "naked", i.e. without sleeves, shield etc and solder the ground; then switch on the projector and put it in rec mode; link the other end of the cable you are building into any audio source (keep the volume low) and use either one the two pins to check if you are getting any sound in the projector: once you can hear a good quality sound, without excessive leve (distotorted) then that's the pin you want.

If you just want to connect a loudspeaker you only need to use the DIN socket at the rear of the projector, this uses the two pinned plug, one pin is round, the other is flat.
If you want to feed out a signal to an amplifier you need to connect to the right-hand side DIN socket. This is a 5 pin socket but will accept a 3 pin plug. Only two connections are used.
See my new posting about DIN plugs and connections for Eumig.
If you do not have an instruction book, this Forum has a free down load for the Eumig 810. Whilst this is a later projector than yours it will give you some very useful information.

Thank you. There's no such plug on the rear of my projector, it has a mini jack though ... Same?
I'll give it a go and order a couple of them ... I only want to connect for now, to the speaker case following the projector to get the sound from the front instead of behind me ...

I have no data on your model, but I have a Eumig 709.
Just looked at the projector and see that it has a mini jack socket in the middle of the rear panel (near the speaker), this however, is the earphone socket.
The speaker socket on my 709 is over to the right as you look at the projector facing the speaker.
