So the only New Years resolution I have is to re-record the films that have bad sound on them when I get a chance. The first one I did tonight was "The Warriors" feature. I used the GS1200, macbook air, and Imac. The Macbook air had Logic Pro running a 23.97 FPS tone that I patched into the ESS of the GS1200 so it was locked into the correct running speed for NTSC. Then I ripped a copy of the DVD onto the hard drive of the Imac and then set the same start position on both the GS and the AV file and then Voila! Perfect sync. I never had to go back and forth. It went all the way through the first 1200 ft reel and then only had to go back once on the 2nd 800ft reel as there were a few frames missing. Played it back through headphones and the GS speakers and it sounded GREAT! Much, much better than the original. Next on the list? Saturday Night Fever!

I have a super 8mm sound copy of Any Old Port with Laurel & Hardy that has the entire mag track erased. Can anyone put the soundtrack back on the film for me?
