No manaual but, it's very easy to use and speed is adjustable making it easier to re-record pre-striped film in STEREO!

This unit is in very good condition and comes with a plastic cover.

I have this and it is a really nice editor but it cannot really do sync recordings from a DVD in case that was the reason you are getting one. The sound from the recordings are truly hifi but there is just too much drift.
FYI in case you are trying to use this for re-recording your Super 8 features/digests.

Before getting a sync box I used my RM-8008 to re-record a feature print of Terminator 2. After a few attempts I was able to maintain sync for approximately 5 minutes at a time. Alan's point is well taken, however with a bit (okay, a lot) of patience it is possible, just don't expect to start recording and let it roll till the end of the reel. As stated, the sound quality is excellent and it's a great machine for watching films if you don't have that permanent screening room setup.
