This is on eBay at the moment. Don't know if the seller is a board member.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fumeo-HL2000-16mm-projector_W0QQitemZ140255919348QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140255919348&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A10&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318

I might bid on it. Any opinions on the machine? I've only ever had the portable type 16mm.

If I had the space I wouldn't hesitate to buy this.

Yes but you would have to arrange transport from Scotland to Essex as the seller wont ship. I would be interested too if he did.

She certainly is a little beauty. I would love to give her a good home but I just don't have the space. Still if space is not an issue it would be well worth hiring a van and collecting it yourself as the starting bid is very reasonable and you could very well snap up a bargain. Isn't he also the seller of the "Murder Most Foul" 16mm feature? At least you know that film would have been run on quality equipment.

Paul.

The transport is a major issue it being in Scotland. I'm down in Southampton! I've found Amtrak Couriers to be good, though. Door to door, take cash payments and will do large items.

Steven, make sure your wall is strong enough to hold it. [Big Grin]

Yes but if he wont ship the item it suggests he wont pack it up for you to arrange your own shipping. Also the cost will be very high as these machines are extremely heavy.
