"Peggy Sue Got Married" is a movie by Francis Ford Coppola starring Kathleen Turner. It was released in 1986. In the end credits there is a credit for 'Electronic Cinema'. Since this is a couple of decades before what we know as digital cinema, can anyone tell me what this credit is referring to with regard to this particular film?

Electronic Cinema is a production team of technicians that Coppola used on the film--it was led by a guy named Murdo Laird. He worked on a handful of them during the 80's then, disappeared but, he seems to be back writing and directing as of 2014.
