If you search "The Creation - Bride Of Frankenstein" on YouTube, the U/8 100' version is available for viewing. Whomever uploaded it - did so at 18fps which makes no sense at all. You'ld think they would notice that the voices sounded weird. Big letdown. It cuts off just after Thesiger exclaims "The Bride Of Frankenstein". I can see why the 100' series never took off. What was U/8 thinking when they all agreed to go ahead with this vision for collectors? Does anyone know just how many of these were actually released? Furthermore, was the pricing drastically different from the 200'ers? After all, we're only talking about 3 minutes or so.

Thanks, Doug. Still makes me wonder why anyone would bother other than just to complete a U/8 library. Just can't imagine anyone thumbing through a brochure and deciding to go with a 4-minute excerpt rather than an 8 or 9 minute digest.

"The Bride of Frankenstein" 100ft edition is great little program filler when shown as part of a classic horror movie show. A beautiful print as well. I've got the full feature on 16mm so the Castle cut down doesn't interest me, but the classic creation scene on its own really works. Wonderful Franz Waxman music score as well.
