I'm having problems with sound on this model that I just got. I have it threaded correctly (I think), the film goes through the gate and path into the take up reel just fine. There is picture and when I switch it to sound, the amp turns on but there is warbled sound, the higher I turn up the volume, the more warble. This is a magnetic sound projector but noticed there is an exciter lamp that turns on. I've cleaned it with alcohol, noticed it is greased, it runs a little noisy but, this will be nice for my kids to have. Is there a Film God that can let there be sound for us? I've seen a previous thread related to the 905 but, could not figure it out.

Is there anyone out there who can help with this issue or has a user manual I can buy or trade for? I saw one on ebay, but maybe there are extras out there from Forum members?

Thanks!

I opened up cover, and pushed up a small red tab near the sound head and then remembered this from a previous thread by Frank Arnstein --

quote:
The second pulley is only used if changing from 50hz to 60hz a/c. If you choose the wrong pulley the sound will be weird. If you swap to the correct pulley your sound will be normal again.
Yet another Forum success story!
